Saving Books, Serving Communities

At Freshwater Books FL, we're on a mission to rescue used books from recycling and redistribute them throughout our local community. We ensure free access to many types of books for educators, organizations, and youth while working hard stocking and restocking private libraries for assisted living facilities, hospitals, and more!

How can we help?

     Any person or program in central Florida (or anyone willing to come to us! Pick-ups only for out of town) may put in a request for FREE BOOKS for their organization or cause using the short contact form at the bottom of this page!

Freshwater Books' FAQs

We're going to do things a little different so here are some of the most frequently asked questions we get.

We are working on setting consistent business hours at least one day a week for regular pick-ups and drop-offs.  More information to come. Appointment only for now!

Almost anyone! So long as there is a communal and/or educational intent behind the acquisition, we want to help. What's the worst that could happen? Try asking!

Make us an offer on eBay. Otherwise, we price to help or give away for free!

We're working hard on sorting out the logistics of being able to offer books of many assorted genres by the pound + shipping. Late in spring 2025 looks to be our launch! Aside from that, we can only offer FREE BOOKS for local pick up until further notice.
